As an introvert, I needed a little help to be able to find my place in the community. As a result, I wanted to give back and make sure everyone is able to find a sense of belonging. I want to advocate for students who might not be able to speak up, like how I was before I found my voice. I sought out leadership learning opportunities to be able to develop professional and transferable skills to utilize in future careers and other endeavors. I am also hoping to strengthen my voice for public speaking, create deeper and more meaningful connections with the community, and be a more supportive foundation for the people I lead.
