The DLDP community engagement project provides an opportunity for students to apply what they are learning through the program within their communities or workplace. 

Students will apply their knowledge and deeper understanding of program topics to their own project of interest or professional work. Students select and develop the type of experience they want.

Applied Experience:

• Group Project – Students engage and collaborate with other students in their cohort to complete a relevant project of interest 
• Individual Project – Students work individually to complete a relevant project of interest
• Internship/Volunteer – Students apply DLDP concepts toward a relevant professional internship or volunteer opportunity

The Diversity Leadership Development Program (DLDP) is a leadership certification program that started in the 2018-2019 academic year.
