Dr. Kawami Evans is a student affairs practitioner with more than 20 years of professional experience in institutions of higher education. Originally from Connecticut, Dr. Evans has worked at public and private colleges and universities across the country where she has provided programs and services that nurture the holistic development of students. She earned her master's degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and her doctorate from Drexel University, where she wrote her dissertation titled "The Influence of Student Affairs Professionals' Spirituality on the Development of College Students: A Phenomenological Study". Dr. Evans has a deep passion for the spiritual development of students and wholeheartedly believes it can serve not only as a powerful tool for academic success but also foundation to transform students into change agents.
