Haruka Hijioka is an international student who desired to study in the United States. Her passion couldn’t wait for a study abroad program, so she came here after graduating high school in Japan. As an international student, she is always passionate to meet and talk with people with different backgrounds. Also, she has always had a passion for international affairs and helping others. Haruka’s dream is to work with a global nonprofit organization, such as the United Nations, to get involved in working with developing countries. Her purpose is to continue working toward her long-term goals related to international development and foreign affairs, and to be a person who can contribute and be a source of change to our world.
