Nina Capurso is a third year transfer student at UC Berkeley studying Sociology and Ethnic Studies. Dedicated to ensuring all groups are guaranteed civil rights, Nina is involved in various student organizations that work to address the issues of immigrant, womxn, and Latinx communities in the Bay Area. She hopes to continue to engage in community dialogue and mobilization as a civil rights and immigration lawyer to protect and uplift marginalized groups. When Nina is not contemplating how she will dismantle systems of oppression, she enjoys researching astrology, planning her next Disneyland trip, and watching mindless rom-coms.
