“Leaders are the ones who are willing to give up something of their own for us. Their time, their energy, their money, maybe even the food off their plate. When it matters, leaders choose to eat last.” - Simon Sinek

Leadership to me is when it no longer matters about what you’ve done but what those who you lead have done. It is the importance of instilling self-confidence and motivation within a group to allow others to believe in themselves to truly maximize their overall potential. To have clarity and be clear in your instructions to give clear purpose and direction. Leadership is leading by example and always placing the needs of those who you lead before yourself. It is creating a positive safe environment for growth and most importantly, leadership is gaining others’ respect, not because of a title but because they’ve earned it. It’s truly making others feel cared for.
