By being involved in DLDP and the CLL internship program, I have gained knowledge in the importance of inclusion, appreciation for diversity, and the power of community. I was able to expand on my professional and leadership skills all while being surrounded and supported by amazing people. The CLL has not only opened pathways for me as an undergraduate student, but it has also opened my mind to a greater understanding of what it means to be a leader as an interchanging and adapting quality that any of us have the ability of achieving. I am confident that when I graduate from UC Davis, I will leave with personal growth, meaningful friendships, and valuable connections because of my experience with the CLL.
