Leadership development is important in all different aspects of life. Personally, I feel that my development as a leader has given me confidence and security in my own abilities. It brings a sense of comfort to knowing that despite weaknesses I have, those flaws humanize as a leader. Professionally, I am thankful for leadership development because I feel like being a leader and having a leadership mindset has allowed me to catalyze a lot of my own growth in my career and propels me to achieve more in what I do. That being said, in the general sense of society, I think that the CLL does an amazing job at helping individuals make these discoveries about themselves, allowing people to navigate their leadership journeys within a safe space to fail and learn.
