Event Date
New for Summer 2021! Most social systems are structured to keep people with power, in power. As a result, many of us benefit in varying degrees and so it can be difficult to identify and challenge disparities. This workshop helps you explore concepts of power, privilege, and oppression, and what you can do to work toward equity.
Learning Objectives
Students actively participating in this workshop will:
- Understand power, power dynamics and influence
- Recognize your personal power and privileges
- Empower yourself to empower others

Policies and Best Practices
Out of respect to our facilitators and other participants, our policy is that students must arrive on time and stay for the full workshop.

- Prepare to interact using your microphone, webcam, and chat
- Be ready to access external websites and documents
We also understand this may not be possible and encourage you to join us anyway, using whatever you've got!
