Event Reflection Paper
Required for all off site events
Students in the Leadership Learning Community are required to write a reflection paper for all off site events they attend in order to get community credit. This is not an essay. It is, however, required work. It is a relatively painless way for you to show us that you have attended the event.
Reflection papers are graded on a pass/no pass basis. All questions are to be addressed and papers must be submitted by 4:00pm on Friday, May 25, 2007 to the COMMUNITY OFFICE (Building 168).
All papers must have the following format:
- Typed, double spaced with STANDARD margins (1” top and bottom, 1.25” left and right)
- Typed in 12 pt. Times New Roman or Ariel font (font larger than 12pt. will not be accepted)
- NO titles, headers or footers EXCEPT first and last name in top right hand corner
- Two FULL pages long (anything less than 2 FULL pages will not be accepted)
- Turned in with the required paper reflection form attached and filled out with full name, student ID, UC Davis email and date
This paper is a reflection of your thoughts about the event in question; it may include questions about the event, arguments on the issue raised by the speaker or film, or some relevant points not covered. Feel free to write down questions you have about the issues that the event or film brought up. You may disagree with the topic or speaker and criticize a point of view, argue about what is said, but not complain at length about the fact that he or she says it. Stick to specifics.
Community Credit: 1CC
Requirement: ALL reflection papers must be submitted with the paper
reflection form and are due by 4:00pm on Friday, May 25, 2007 in the Community Office in Bldg. 168.
